Suzanne Michele Chouteau, Professor of Art at Xavier University in
Cincinnati, OH, teaches a variety of courses including printmaking and art
history. She received her BA in Art from Saint Ambrose University,
Davenport, IA, and her MA and MFA in Printmaking from The University of
Iowa in Iowa City. Her art works in exhibits nationally and internationally this
year include: the International Print Triennial Krakow (Istanbul, Turkey &
Falun, Sweden); the Los Angeles Printmaking Society's 21st National
Exhibition; The Boston Printmakers 2013 North American Print Biennial,
23rd Parkside National Small Print Exhibition (Wisconsin);and Reigning Cats
and Dogs (Bristol, England). Suzanne is married to Chris Bedel, Director of
the Cincinnati Museum Center's Edge of Appalachia Preserve in Adams
County, OH, where they live with their son, Elijah Bird.
